Listeners: Use LiveVoice with MS Teams
If you want to use LiveVoice together with a Teams Meeting, you have 2 ways to do this.
Option 1: Use two devices
You can simply watch MS Teams on your computer and listen to LiveVoice on your smartphone - or vice versa. Turn down the volume on the device that Teams is running on, and listen to the interpretation on the other device.
Option 2: Use same computer
If you watch and listen on the same device, you need to turn down (or mute) the volume of Teams, so you can listen on LiveVoice only. There are two ways to do this.
A) Turn down volume in Teams Interface
While in the Teams meeting, click the 3 dots in options bar and select Device Settings.
When Device Settings are visible, you can Mute/Unmute it by simply clicking the Speaker icon or turning the volume down.
If you use Teams in the web browser: Muting this way might not work if you are using Teams in the web browser, because it will mute the overall computer audio. So in this case, you can simply choose a different Speaker output from the one you use to listen to LiveVoice.
B) Turn down volume in system settings
Right-click on the Volume icon on the Window’s taskbar (next to clock).
And in popup menu, select ‘Open Volume Mixer’.
You can see now the volume panels of several apps (including Teams).
Click on the Speaker icon at the bottom of the Microsoft Teams volume bar to mute audio on Teams.
If you just want to adjust the volume, simply slide volume to lower or raise the volume.
